What are your thoughts on returning to school after well over twenty-something years?
Some people told me to rock on, while others have said: "You need to quit!"
Talk about peer-pressure at my age, seriously
For five years, I'm back in school fulfilling my dream to get my degree after well over twenty years of working in IT and raising a family, it is now time for me, Dee. I wanted to learn something new and after thinking what came to mind was Web Design creating websites but I had to learn development. I returned to school enrolling into a degree program for an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems to specialize in eCommerce. I figured learning new skills will allow me to alternative options within IT using creativity while remaining in the computer industry.
Five years is a long time to earn an Associate degree but it doesn't matter how long it takes to get one. I have become The Forever Student working on myself to make my dreams come true!
